I think the pic overall has adequate contrast, but the two faces have more than their share and skew the need for figure and background enhancement. Good Crit!

Omni: Texturing has already been added, more resulted in a muddying of detail and didn't accomplish the integration I was looking for. There is great variability of texturing throughout the pic; reference the forewardmost leg of the creature on the right
