Another menu page created for my website - using photos of a concrete tree and a dead cormorant I found on the beach. The eye was hand painted.

Bloody ace! I prefer this to the other one and that was great! Top marks for your now famous style and ingenious webdesign.

Just out of interest have you seen HR Gigers website, it pretty poor, design wise.Mind you he says on the site that he is a technophobe, has never used a computer and never even looks at his own site. The reason I say this is he has missed a fantastic opportunity to do something along your lines with his own artwork.

To me the eyes should be less bright and perhaps a bit more texture around them. Maybe add some feeling to the eyes so we feel the emotion in the tree.
Still, this is one of your best concepts, ..there's lots to do with trees and eyes and I can't wait to see your next one.

All has been said...interesting enough when I clicked the thumbail to view this, I swear I saw one of those "tentacles" flicked my mouse ponter! >_< and that's when I felt there's something creepy about this entry...Perhaps I'm just seeing things. LOL
