when i was looking at the checked floor of our bathroom while being in the loo, it started to split into two (identic) layers. the first one stood still while the beyond layer began to move. pretty fast. after a few seconds the effect of rotating rims appeared. (you know.. the faster they spin forward, the more they seem to do so backwards)
